About/ Contact

We're all learners in this process of life, it's on the job training so everyone's allowed to make mistakes.

I am an artistic or creative person, but I started working when I was 12 and my work experience has been very diverse. I've also done a lot of work for non-profit organizations, some of it voluntary and some paid positions. I've been married for almost 30 years and we have 2 adult children and 1 teenager.

I have traveled far and wide and met so many people from different nations and cultures and all walks of life. I care about those who suffer, especially children. I believe there's a way every person can help others, and we can accomplish more, and learn more, when we work together. I believe our essential purpose is to "love one another" as a family, one great big human family.

When my kids were in Elementary School I ran for public office and was elected to the School Board. Soon after that my husband became ill and lost his business, so I had to find work. I went to work for another non-profit that was helping parents. I studied child development and became a certified Parent Educator with the Parent's As Teachers program. I learned so much from this job and I'm really grateful it lasted for 5 years. After that I found a few other part-time jobs doing similar work, and I went back to college.

Unpredictable things sometimes happen. I became ill and was laid off because of the economy at the same time. I decided to start blogging as a way to be creative and inspire myself. (See: Create A Beautiful Life ) At the same time I was working on preparing a parenting workshop, so I decided to start a blog about parenting to offer my life experience to whomever it might help.

  5. Hello. I'm developing a social platform, race2bhuman, that will provide children with the tools (fundraising & awareness building ideas & the downloadables to make them happen) & selected non-profit organizations to which they can direct their efforts.

Given that you're a 'mom blogger for social good', I thought I might send you some information on the platform as we prepare to launch, but I don't have an email address to send the information. Would you mind forwarding your email address to me for this purpose?

    Thanks so much.
    Regards,
