I remember those separation anxiety days, it was not so funny at the time. Things always seem funnier when they are in the past. If you have a funny story or something your child has said that cracked you up, please share it with us by leaving a comment.
too cute! I always thought that if I just would have been recording every funny thing that came out of all my kids' mouths as they grew up, I'd have one funny coffee table book! An example: the other day I'm cooking with the help of my 4-yr-old and she starts telling me about a toy she wanted so much at the store earlier. So I said, "well Christmas is coming so we should write Santa a letter and put that on your list. Do you want to write Santa a letter?" She thought about it for a minute, then said, "sure...maybe I'll just write the letter F. You can help me write the letter F." :)
ReplyDeleteHere are my favorite three:
ReplyDeleteMe: Be nice to the book, that way you can keep it until you're an old man.
R: I want to keep it until I'm a new man.
R: I became a big man today.
Dad: Oh? When?
R: I became a big man in the stroller.
Me: Oh, R, your cheeks are so soft.
R: That's not my cheek, that's my face!
