Family Fun

Let The Good Times Roll
"Since I am a busy mom of four, I rely on my children to help me out with everyday chores around the house. One morning I was running around trying to get the children and myself ready, when I suddenly realized it was trash pickup day. So I handed a bag of garbage to my sleepy seven-year-old son and told him to toss it in the trash bin on his way out the door.Glancing out my window moments later, I
saw him wearily boarding the bus. He was carrying his backpack, his lunchbox and a big white bag of garbage."

Family life can be very entertaining. Although in the moment we may feel a lot of pressure, stress or great concern over what's happening, when we look back at the circumstances we can often laugh. I have to be grateful to my husband for frequently pointing out to me that, "someday we'll laugh about this", even in a crisis when I thought I would ring his neck for saying that.

Do you have any funny stories you would like to share? Please feel free to leave your comments below.

  1. Nice blog with nice posts! Blog design is so cute.It is a great pleasure to live with children and watching them becoming younger. In India,95% kids are very lucky that they live with their parents and grandfather and grandmother under one roof. For example,A parents with 20 years old son,22 years old daughter,60 years old grandfather and grandmother are living happily under one roof.

    1. Thanks for visiting and your sweet comments. I have always loved Indian culture for that reason (and the food!). The US would be better if family bonds were closer.
